“If You Hadn’t Gone Away” was written sometime between fall of 2017 and spring of 2018. I made a low quality demo version, then forgot about it. Recently, I rediscovered the recording and since everything else is cancelled in 2020, I had the time to turn it into something worth sharing. The background guitar parts are authentic original recordings from the original session. Shout out to Nicholas Umezawa and Carl Bahner for helping to bring this song to life. This tune means a lot to me and I think it’s worth a second or third listen, so add it to your playlist!
